Attainment has built a solid reputation over 25 years in the field of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools. Their latest app, GoTalk NOW PLUS, embodies this extensive experience, offering a versatile and user-friendly solution designed for individuals with speech difficulties.

Building on the foundation of GoTalk NOW, GoTalk NOW PLUS incorporates essential features commonly found in effective AAC applications. These include customizable page layouts, both recorded and text-to-speech functionalities, and adaptable navigation systems. The standout aspect of PLUS is its abundance of supplementary content; with access to over 15,000 images from SymbolStix and The GoTalk Image Library, users can greatly enhance their communication experience. Additionally, it offers the Ready-Set-Communicate pre-made communication book tailored for children aged 3-10. The inclusion of seven English text-to-speech voices, including two designed for children, further diversifies communication options. It is important to note that an internet connection is required to download the extra content.

GoTalk NOW PLUS presents three distinct styles of communication pages: Standard, Express, and Scenes. In Standard pages, action engages with a simple tap on the desired location. Express pages allow for messages—either recorded or text-to-speech—to accumulate in a speech bar, facilitating sequential playback. Scene pages are centered around a single image, wherein hidden hotspots can be integrated over objects or individuals to trigger speech, music, or videos. Users can effortlessly mix various page types within a communication book.

The app enables the creation of multiple communication books, each customizable in terms of settings and unlimited page counts. Users can share their books with others through WiFi and securely back them up via Dropbox or any compatible Mac/PC system. The innovative combination of video, music, and link actions enriches communication possibilities. An added benefit is the provision of a private online gallery where users can store up to five templates free of charge and share them with parents and colleagues via email.

GoTalk NOW PLUS also functions as a fully-featured scanning app, offering a multitude of features:
